The first step to building a custom home is to schedule an appointment with our owner, Steve Noble. During this appointment he'll sit down with you to get to know your vision for your custom home.
Once he has a clear understanding of your design preferences, "must haves", and budget then he'll design a lay-out to include the style of home that you wish to have while keeping in mind:
•Number of bedrooms
•Number of bathrooms
•Number of stalls in garage
•Type of floor plan
•Total square footage
Other consideration include things like having the spacious gathering areas today's home-owners like to more detailed features such as nine foot ceilings or vaulted areas, or window placement to bring in light or provide for a view. All of this is done while trying to maximize the value of the construction and minimize wasted spaces. The plan may include a "man-cave" or over-sized garage for "toys" or storage . . . . or a space for a crafting or quilting or a bonus room for the kids to play in or a bunkroom for those large family gatherings.
A new custom home can be designed to meet everyone's wants and needs. Efficiencies of space and designing a home that offers energy savings, accessibility while keeping and growing value can all be accomplished by good custom home design. It is a process. And it is the way Noble Custom Homes has been doing it for years.
